Royal Ballet Manon broadcasts in Canada in January


 Great News for Toronto ballet fans!

The Bloor Cinema will be showing the Royal Ballet broadcasts, starting with Kenneth MacMillan's  Manon on Saturday January 17th at noon. If you missed the National Ballet of Canada's performances in November, DO NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY to see one of the great works in the repertoire, with absolutely fabulous passionate pas de deux. (If you did see the NBOC performances, well... you'll want to see it again!)

In this heartbreaking drama, Manon’s brother Lescaut is offering her to the highest bidder when she meets Des Grieux and falls in love. They elope to Paris, but when Monsieur G.M. offers Manon a life of luxury as his mistress she cannot resist.
