Australian Ballet in New York reviews

Alastair Macaulay, New York Times: mixed program:
" A solo for Daniel Gaudiello, with his limbs pulling him open in opposite directions, and his legs and feet pulsating, is the single finest dance I have seen by Mr. McGregor; it makes Mr. Gaudiello both fascinating and appealing... Most of his dances look like a brew of gimmickry and stunts, and the idea of humanity that emerges from his work inclines toward the freakish. New York has recently experienced at least two other dances done to Mr. Reich’s “Double Sextet”; Mr. McGregor’s revealed the architecture of the music far less than the pieces by Larry Keigwin and Peter Quanz"
